Children And Divorce

There are certain things in life, that will affect your children deeply. Two such things are death, and divorce, although divorce is what we are speaking of in this article. When parents divorce, children are affected by several emotions, fear, anger, and mistrust. Children are not simply mini-adults, so when they feel all of these strong emotions, they do not know how to deal with them. Especially if the divorce was not amicable, or was quite bitter, children will be able to sense this. They will also feel torn trying to decide between mom and dad, especially if the parents are putting pressure on them, which can be agonizing for a child.
